Rachel is the author of Our Silent Footsteps, a historical novel based on the true story of Mary (an Egyptian Copt) and her Polish Jewish husband, Jozef, who met under incredible circumstances in Alexandria, Egypt in 1943. Their story is a triumph over adversity and an exploration of two entirely different cultures against the backdrop of war.
